Eastern Standard is Caldwell's premium maduro offering — an Indonesian Java-wrapped full-strength toro that brings dark chocolate and caramel sweetness over a robust Nicaraguan-Dominican core. The Java wrapper is rarer than San Andrés in the market and gives this cigar a slightly different maduro character — roasted rather than sweet, with coffee bean and leather notes dominating the second half.
