Perdomo's Habano Gold is the spicier counterpart to the Reserve Champagne — a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper over the same quality Estelí and Jalapa core. Red pepper and cedar come forward immediately, with the characteristic Habano spice building through the middle third. Nick Perdomo's aged-tobacco approach means there's none of the harshness common to less carefully produced Habano cigars. An outstanding value in the medium-strength Nicaraguan category.
